FAQ - What is the cost?
Short Answer: Nothing
Longer Answer: We do not charge you anything for connecting you with a mortgage advisor. This a free service. Due to FSA regulations, mortgage advisors are required to ask you if you would like to pay a fee for their service; most (if not all) advisors will work for free, as they earn money from the mortgage providers when they introduce a client. We only work with FSA regulated advisors, as this means you are guaranteed to receive the best advice possible in a clear understandable way. If you feel this is not the case you can take action against your advisor. For more information visit the Financial Services Authority website.
Okoza does not charge visitors in any way for its services. Most of our revenue comes from the introduction fees payable by the product providers when you take out a loan, credit card, current account etc. through Okoza.
So, if for example, you are looking for a credit card and apply for a card with American Express, when your application is accepted and the card is issued to you, American Express will pay a small fee to Okoza. Does this mean you are getting a worse deal? No: companies spend thousands if not millions a year advertising their products, so instead of paying for other forms of marketing they offer us this commission for when people choose their products through our comparison service.
If you use Okoza and find a product that you need, we hope that if you find the information and site useful that you will be happy to apply through us so we can earn a little commission and continue to improve the service.
