RAC personal loans have a typical APR of 6.5 per cent and there are no repayments for the first three months. Applications can be made online.
Amounts up to £25,000 are available and the repayment period can be spread out over any period from 12 to 60 months.
There is also the added bonus of free RAC membership for non-members and up to £60 of benefits for those who are.
These include free MOT, a free 14 point car check and a £30 Marks and Spencer vouchers when you take out an RAC insure policy.
Cheques can also be made available within 24 hours. There is a £45 charge for a next day courier service.
