Surely the most cheerfully named of all financial providers, smile offers personal loans with a typical APR of 6.9 per cent.
The loan can be used for any purpose and amounts starting from £1,500 and £25,000 can be borrowed. Payments can also be spread out between one and seven years.
There is also a thorough process to keep track of applications that are made online. Customers will receive an enrolment number to keep up to speed with the process of their loan application.
Once accepted, a pre-contract information document and two copies of your credit agreement with the terms and conditions will arrive, one to be signed and returned and the other for your own personal records.
The smile loan also has a payment protection option, which covers accident, sickness or unemployment if the borrower has been out of work for 30 days.
